I am planning on including this painting "Snake Charmer" in an upcoming exhibit Our Shared Planet at the Lexington Arts and Crafts June 19- July 9 2012. The opening reception is Sunday June 24  5-7 PM.

This exhibit is in partnership with Mass Audubon

Fat Cat

 

This painting " Fat Cat" is finally completed, and I am excited about taking it along with me to Artexpo New York next week. For a while I was painting a lot of full figure women, so I  thought it would be great to include this painting into my Snazzy Gals and Pals Collection. How exciting, I was selected as one of the Top 50 Emerging Artists in Art Business News. I even got my face onto the cover. Check it out!

Art Expo New York

Hard to believe that Artexpo NY is only a few weeks away.  I will be exhibiting my fine art paintings at booth #1141. If you are in the New York area between March 22-25, it would be great to see you. The show is located on Pier 92 and the show hours are10 AM to 7PM. Here is a sampling of what I am planning on having at the show.

New Work

I have been very busy juggling between getting a couple of shows together, illustrating two books, and coming up with a few new paintings. Never a dull moment for sure. Here are three pieces that I just finished recently. Enjoy!

Dog Portraits

I have been very busy at my studio painting dog portraits on rather large canvases. I think they look great when they are hung together in a pack.  It's been fun and interesting studying the characteristics of the different breeds.
