Finished this painting "Last Roses of Summer" yesterday. WOW...I am so glad that it is officially done! Not the easiest painting to figure-out. I always find it fascinating how some paintings just come together relatively easily, and others are such a struggle. Now I am off to the studio to work on another painting. Enjoy!

My work is now being exhibited at the Artexpo Studio Gallery in Monterey, California. Hopefully, I will  get the opportunity to get out to Monterey and check it out.

Our Shared Planet

I am planning on including this painting "Snake Charmer" in an upcoming exhibit Our Shared Planet at the Lexington Arts and Crafts June 19- July 9 2012. The opening reception is Sunday June 24  5-7 PM.

Fat Cat

 

This painting " Fat Cat" is finally completed, and I am excited about taking it along with me to Artexpo New York next week. For a while I was painting a lot of full figure women, so I  thought it would be great to include this painting into my Snazzy Gals and Pals Collection.
