A new piece "Just Bubles"

Got an opportunity to go to my studio this past week between snow storms, to work on a few pieces. I thought it would be fun to work on paper this time. I love the layering effect that occurs on the paper to give the piece dimension. I am also playing around with different color combinations and keeping the palette simple.

New Painting

Finished this painting today with the idea of submitting it into the
Concord Art Association Members Juried I show. It is always difficult to decide which pieces to submit.

You never know what a juror is looking for. Sometimes I get in, and sometimes I don't. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that I get in for this show.
